After selecting the universities (in which you want to apply), if any of the selected university(ies) needed to be applied through Uni-Assist, you need to make a payment to them so as to process your application .
This post may/will help you to get the guidelines on how to make the payment to Uni- Assist from an Indian Nationalized Bank.
The below guidelines mentioned is the procedure followed by the author of this article. I sincerely thank to him for posting this article.
Guidelines for Transfer Money to Uni-Assist
- Suppose if you choose 5 university to apply (which are to be processed through Uni- Assist), then the total Euros you need to transfer to Uni- Assist account is 68 + (15*4) = 128 Euros. [Here you need to understand that for first application they charge 68 Euros and from 2nd application onwards you need to pay only 15 Euros * No of universities.]
- Take the bank details of Uni-assist from the website.
- If you go for SBI* (State Bank of India), then it charges Rs.1200 for transfering amount (so called bank processing fee).
- In SBI give your passport copy, Uni-assist bank details (account no. etc.), Application fees and transfer fees.
- Within one day your fees will be transfered.

Sorry for the late reply. I was very busy with my work during these days. Yes the local banks in India charges some transfer fees when you transfer from any bank to German Bank to pay the Uni Assist fees. It is quite normal. When you open a Blocked Account then German Bank deducts 50 Euros as charging fees. The bank people can give you the exact amount details that how much you need to pay as it depends on the exchange rate for the day.
